You will...Define and drive storytelling of Duolingo's world characters across apps, brand, and marketingDirect story sequences when collaborating with design, art, audio, engineering, and product teamsEnsure narrative consistency across multiple platforms and media You have...A proven track record of writing compelling narrativesExperience developing game scriptsExperience inventing character lore across mediumsExperience collaborating cross-functionally with creative and product teams Exceptional candidates will have...A background as a narrative leader, establishing vision and guiding story directionExperience specifically directing story sequences, not just writing themStrong ability to maintain coherence of character storytelling across diverse media and brand touchpointsWe post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process.
