Job Description

The opportunity

The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8 - Friday, August 14, 2026 . In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours per week. Interns will earn $17.50-$21.50 per hour.

This role is hybrid at 1 Autumn Street, Boston. Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.

What you'll do


  • Engage in CABHRe research activities and offer an adolescent voice to our adolescent-focused research
  • Review research materials for comprehension, tone, appeal, assisting with preparation of documents, mailings, and presentations
  • Participate in quality improvement-focused mock sessions (e.g., counseling scenarios, recruitment scenarios)
  • Programming and testing technological tools (e.g., surveys, mobile applications)
  • Participating in teamwide learning activities (e.g., presentations from other researchers, discussions of scientific journal articles)
  • Delivering an end-of-program presentation to the research team about your internship experience
  • Attend a 2?day program orientation and onboarding
  • Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

Who you are
  • You are an undergraduate college student in good academic standing and will be enrolled in a two?or four?year program for Fall 2026, and you are interested in working in healthcare
  • Eager to learn, having strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Have careful attention to detail
  • Interest in substance use, mental health, or other adolescent behavioral health topics

The posted pay range is Boston Childrens reasonable and good?faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job?related factors.
