We are seeking experienced Per Diem Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Novant-GoHealth Urgent Care team in the Charlotte NC area. At GoHealth Urgent Care, we go above and beyond for our patients, communities and team members to ensure effortless, personal, and connected experiences. Partnering with Novant Health, one of the most respected healthcare networks in the Carolinas, we’ve built a substantial network of urgent care centers in the Greater Charlotte area, Winston-Salem and Asheville, NC. Key responsibilities include managing clinical complexity and a wide variety of concerns, engaging in shared decision making and problem-solving, seeing patients at regular intervals with scheduling programs that promote wellness, efficiency, and safe care. Our centers are equipped with advanced technology including integrated EPIC EMR, POC testing, and On-site X-ray. Work in clean, quiet, well-maintained healthcare settings and collaborate with an on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader. Extended hour centers offer a shift differential after 8pm. Minimum qualifications include one year of fulltime experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, comfort with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays, and experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting. Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds. This is a dynamic, flexible role for experienced clinicians ready to make a difference in urgent care medicine with the support of a fast-growing healthcare network.
