The Green Velvet Room Salon is a Kevin.Murphy salon located in the Jonesville area across from the Town of Tioga. Our mission is to exceed our clients' expectations by using high-quality products, staying up to date to the latest trends, and delivering exceptional customer service.We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated, professional Salon Receptionist to be the face of our front desk and ensure smooth operation of the salon.
Key Responsibilities: -Answer phone calls and communicate with clients via phone, online, and in-person.-Warmly greet clients, offer refreshments, and inform stylist of their arrival.-Accurately schedule all salon appointments, changes or cancellations, and monitor employee scheduling.-Process transactions for salon and boutique.-Assist with retail sales and product recommendations.-Support salon operations by folding towels, doing laundry, reviewing inventory, ripping foils, and maintaining a tidy salon.
Requirements: -Customer service and/or reception experience required-Retail experience-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Comfortable with computer booking software.-Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.-Professional appearance and demeanor-Ability to perform light cleaning duties, move boutique sales rack, and handle laundry.
