Job Description

Title: Technical Program Manager

Location: Redmond, WA 3 days onsite 2 days remote **no flex**

Duration: 12 months

Compensation: $50-85/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

This position will oversee complex program definitions, implementations, and deliveries that require cross-functional collaboration and management across various projects. The Senior Technical Program Manager will work closely with internal exempt and matrixed employees, contractors, and executive-level management to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

  • Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.
  • Engage in program-level strategic planning and complex issue resolution.
  • Manage a group or groups of internal and external project teams.
  • Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, documentation, and project schedule development.
  • Handle project budget management, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and communication across multiple organizational levels.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Project estimating, scheduling & tracking, and delivery
  • Understand manufacturing process and know how each technology fits within it
  • Ability to create order out of chaos; track, organize and filter out noise
  • Exp with Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
  • Understanding and experience with electronics hardware fundamentals
  • Proven people management and team building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be effective at organizing, communicating and executing against plans in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Material Science, or Manufacturing.
  • Experience managing vendors.
  • Experience working with research organizations.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
